Time to Make the Funeral Arrangements

Michael Vale, who played "Fred the Baker" in commercials for Dunkin' Donuts for 15 years is dead at 83 of complications from diabetes.

I don't recall seeing before. I was away from the US from 1989 to 1998 - did he work during that time? I remember some of the commercials from my childhood, though I don't remember him. Maybe I forgot. He seems to have been quite loved. Wish I knew [of] him.
